The Republic of Dubrpvnik lasted from 1358 – 1808. During war at the begginning of the '90-ties Old Town suffered tragic damages but the spirit was not broken. According to Tripadvisor, Dubrovnik stoned walls on 8th place among 10 most important places in the world to visit while USA Today announced Dubrovnik as 4th most beautiful city in Europe
